After the living in his rented accommodation at the Schoolhouse Dan Hartman moved to Multilevel - the place where many fine tracks were composed and recorded. The multi-level house overlooks the Saugatuck river and comprises of vaulted ceilings, skylights, 5 fireplaces, 2-story living room and 2 master suites. Dan had a small studio adjoining the house.

When Dan lived in the house the exterior walls were painted yellow - nowadays they are a more 'sober' grey.
